About Us

A clean-technology and waste-to-value company turning difficult-to-recycle waste into useful resources.

Who We Are

Alternafoss Energy Private Limited

Incorporated in November 2020, Alternafoss Energy Pvt. Ltd. (AEPL) has its head office, manufacturing unit and technology development facility at Nardana Industrial Area (MIDC), Dhule, Maharashtra.

We develop and commercialise sustainable resource-recovery solutions for waste streams that conventional recycling cannot handle, starting with waste plastics, tyres and other end-of-life polymers.

Our technology platform is an advanced thermal and catalytic conversion process built through in-house R&D, engineering development and extensive pilot-scale operation. It recovers useful hydrocarbon products from waste polymers, creating value from materials that would otherwise go to disposal.

Our manufacturing unit at Nardana MIDC, Dhule
Why Dhule

A location chosen for feedstock

Before building, we studied waste-plastic availability and logistics across Maharashtra. Major centres like Mumbai and Pune generate large volumes of waste plastic, and the Khandesh region adds a further source.

Our unit at Nardana MIDC, Dhule gives us access to several feedstock catchment areas, avoids dependence on any single source and leaves room for future capacity expansion.
